Hello.  I recently downloaded the Advance Software popup contribution ( http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,4374/ ), which is supposed to make the popups in OSC work much better (and not have to open a new window).  I downloaded all of the files and installed them exactly where the readme.html instructions said to put them, and I modified my product_info.php file exactly the way the readme instructions said to modify it.

In OSC, on the product_info page, there is a popup that said "click to enlarge".  This usually opens up a new window.  I don't want to scare any potential customers away, so I installed this contribution.  But when I put my mouse over it (in any browser), the cursor over the text, "click to enlarge", the a:hover changes colors as it should, but the cursor disappears and the link will not click anywhere.  I also installed the "fix" on the same page, but that had no effect.

Any suggestions to help get this working would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks!

Hello J,

Okay. Let me see your website, maybe I can help you. I have peoples reviews installing this contribution and it seems to work smoothly.
By the way, the latest fix on oscommerce site is relaed to dropdowns only and does not affect the functionality at all.

Best,
Alex

Hello Alex.  I have put everything in the proper folders, and I have changed my product_info.php and stylesheet.css files just as in the readme instructions, but I always get either no link at all, or if there is a link, it doesn't work when you click it; the cursor disappears.  I'll leave this up for the rest of the day, though.  You can see it here:  http://forums.oscommerce.com/index.php?act...amp;MSID=165361... I'm sure it's confusing to make it work with OSC. Thank you for your help, or for any suggestions you can offer!

I'm sorry Alex.  That was not the proper link (obviously!).  Here is the link to one of my products, for example, that I'm having trouble with ... this is jus tone product, although none of them are working.  Thanks!

The readme.html instructions were just missing a quotation mark.  I found this because when I viewed my source, it was <a rel="lightbox  ... with no end quotation mark.  I fixed it, and it works just fine.  I already put the fix on the OSC contribution page in a text file.  Thanks a lot for your help!

Alex

I had the same problem as "ivylgalum", but I downloaded the text file contribution he put on osCommerce to fix the quotation markand it now works.
However my question is: The readme or installation page says there is a lightbox.css file that has to be installed in catalog/includes/
There is NO such file in the download. I downloaded  Advance Popup from your site and then downloaded the contribution from osCommerce as well, but the lightbox.css file in not included in any download.

Is there a lightbox.css file that needs to be included as indicated in the installation file or is that a mistake in the installation instructions Huh

If it's needed, How do I get it?

Somewhat confussed here because the script works without the lightbox.css file incduled..

Sorry

I was wrong - the file is included as an additional zip file.. I over looked that..
I'll install it to see the difference...
