New alternative AJAX checkout page loads dynamic content instantly, while customer selects shipping and payment methods, change delivery or billing address without slow whole page reloading. For example, if customer selects shipping method, only shipping area of the page is modified leaving the rest of the page as is. This speeds up the whole checkout process, and customers  is presented with a nice user-friendly interface to complete checkout on your store.

I am trying to integrate a different payment module for Ajax one page checkout: payflowpro.  Could you provide guidance as to what steps I need to go through, and any other tips for a relative novice.

Thanks

Hi,

Aparently, its not quite easy to write a new module for ajax checkout. The shipping modules are fine,
but not the payment modules. The default OsCommerce payment module structure is full of redirects, and
they are useless in ajax, as you may know, ajaz loads content instantly, without rediects. Thats why you
need to totally rewrite a payment module to make it work for Ajax checkout.

You could start looking an authorize net written in the package, but as it is hard to write a new module
we could do this for you under our "Site maintenance custom" plan. However, we need to look at the module
itself before we could make an eastimation on how long it will take to write such module.

Best,
Alex

Thank you.  I would really appreciate a quote on modifying the payflowpro module.  Where can I send the module?
