Same problem with the shopping cart

If you recall, this has happened before.  The customer purchased one book which cost $9.95 for but was charged $49.75 through PayPal. I received the notice from Paypal of the charges, but the Oscommerce shopping cart didn't send any notice to me, or created any mention that the customer made a purchase in the Administrator area. However, it did subtract the Products Quantity, from 10 available to 9.

Please let me know what needs to be done so that this won't happen again?

Hello Wealthy1,

This is hard to tell at once what is the problem. First of all, you are probably having a simple PAYPAL module,
not paypal IPN. Simple PAYPAL module requres customer to RETURN to your site AFTER purchase (which major customers doesnt do)
to place an order in admin area.

This problem is resolved by installing PAYPAL IPN module.
